1. In Scheduling, click My Schedule on the navigation menu on the left-hand side. At the top of your schedule, you’ll see the details of your shift. To view the schedule for prior or upcoming weeks, click the arrows on either side of the date range.
2. To punch into your shift, click Punch In.
3. You’ll see a pop-up window with the shift details. An error message will pop up if you punch in from an invalid IP address or location outside of your workplace, and you’ll not be able to complete the punch.
You’ll see a warning message if your punch in or punch out time doesn’t match the shift time. Click Punch In to confirm.
4. The Punch History section shows the punch in and punch out times for the five most recent shifts.
5. To punch out of your shift, click Punch Out.
6. You’ll see a pop-up window with the shift details. Click Punch Out to confirm. An error message will pop up if you punch out from an invalid IP address or location outside of your workplace, and you’ll not be able to complete the punch.
7. To request a cover for your upcoming shift, navigate to the shift and click Request cover.
8. To select the recipient to cover your shift, click the dropdown. You’ll only see those recipients which are eligible for the shift. Review the shift details and add a message. Once completed, click Send. Once the request is sent, a Cover Request Pending tag is added to the shift. You’ll receive a notification once the other employee and manager approve your request. The shift will be removed from your schedule. You’ll receive a notification if your request is rejected. In this case, the shift will remain in your schedule.
9. To drop your upcoming shift, navigate to the shift and click Drop.
11. Review the shift details and add a message. Once completed, click Send.
12. Once the request is sent, a Drop Request Pending tag is added to the shift. You’ll receive a notification once the manager approves the request. The shift will be removed from your schedule.
You’ll receive a notification if your request is rejected. In this case, the shift will remain in your schedule.
13. If you don’t have a shift assigned for the day, you can do an unscheduled punch. Click Unscheduled Punch.
