How to analyze applicant data
Applicant data can be downloaded from Recruiting in CSV format at any time—for instructions on how to do so, check out our article on How to export applicant data. Downloaded applicant data can be opened in a spreadsheet application to sort, filter, and organize the opportunities you’ve posted to your careers page. We’ve included some examples below to give you an idea as to how the data can be analyzed 1. Start by opening the downloaded applicant data in your spreadsheet application of choice. Note that filtering and sorting functions may differ from application to application.
2. To filter applicants by the job posting they applied to, filter the spreadsheet by Job posting.
3. To see all applicants who’ve applied for a position in a given location, filter the spreadsheet by Job posting location.
4. To view all applicants who live in a given place, filter the spreadsheet by Applicant location.
5. To view only applicants at a given stage in the recruiting process, filter the spreadsheet by Current stage.
