How to analyze job posting data
Job posting data can be downloaded from Recruiting in CSV format at any time—for instructions on how to do so, check out our article on How to export job posting data. Downloaded job posting data can be opened in a spreadsheet application to sort, filter, and organize the opportunities you’ve posted to your careers page. We’ve included some examples below to give you an idea as to how the data can be analyzed.
1. Start by opening the downloaded job posting data in your spreadsheet application of choice. Note that filtering and sorting functions may differ from application to application.
2. To filter all job postings for a certain position, filter the spreadsheet by Job Posting.
3. To see all job postings for a given department, filter the spreadsheet by Department.
4. To view all job postings in a certain location, filter the spreadsheet by Location.
5. To view only job postings with a certain status, filter the spreadsheet by Status.
