
Note: This feature is available to managers and admins with Scheduling & Time Tracking access.
The Time Approval page is where managers and admins review, modify, and approve employee time entries before sending hours to payroll.
Go to Scheduling > Time Approval.
Page layout
The Time Approval page shows a table of employees and their time entries for the selected date range. Each row is one employee, and each column shows a date or data field.
Filters
Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow the list:
- Date range — select the pay period or custom range you want to review.
- Department — filter by one or more departments.
- Status — show all entries, or only approved or unapproved.
- Payroll organization — filter by payroll org if your company has more than one.
Views
Toggle between Biweekly and List view using the icons in the top-right corner.
- Biweekly view shows a calendar-style grid with hours per day.
- List view shows individual time entries as rows with start/end times and totals.
Manage columns
Click More columns to add or remove data columns. Available columns include Client, Work code, Billing code, Location, and Tag. To access notes for a time entry, use the More details drawer.
Quick actions
Select one or more employees using the checkboxes, then use the bulk action bar to:
- Approve or Unapprove selected entries.
- Delete selected entries.
More details drawer
Click the expand icon on any time entry row to open the More details drawer. This panel shows notes, audit trail, and shift history for that entry.
