How to update compensation for an employee without a payroll profile
1. In People, navigate to the profile of the employee you want to adjust compensation for.
2. On the Journey tab of the employee’s profile, click + Add an Event.
3. In the Add an Event window, select Change Compensation under Event Type and select an Effective Date for the compensation change.
4. To change the employee’s pay rate, check the Pay Rate box and add a new pay rate. To update the employee’s compensation method, check the Compensation Method box and select a new compensation method.
5. Click Save once you’re done.
