Add Rise as a connector in Claude so you can ask questions about your Rise reporting data right inside a chat. For what you can ask once it's set up, see Use an AI assistant with Rise.
Note: You need a Claude plan that supports connectors: Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise. You also need a Rise account with reporting access.
Add the Rise connector
- In Claude, go to Settings > Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Enter the name Rise and the remote server URL
https://mcp.risepeople.com/mcp - Click Add. Claude sets up the secure sign-in automatically.
Sign in to Rise
- When the Rise connector appears, click Connect.
- Sign in with your Rise account in the window that opens.
- Approve the access request.
reports:read covers most questions; also approve reports:write if you want Claude to build and save reports.
Try it
Open a chat and ask a question, such as "How many employees do we have in each department?" Claude will run the report and can give you a link that opens it in Rise.
Troubleshooting
- You don't see "Add custom connector". Your plan may not include connectors, or your workspace admin has turned them off. Check that you're on Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise.
- The sign-in window didn't open, or sign-in failed. Allow pop-ups for Claude, then click Connect again.
- Claude says it's disconnected. Sign-ins refresh on their own, but if it drops, click Connect to sign in again.
- Claude can't find any reports. Your Rise account may need reporting access turned on. Contact Support.
- Claude can't save a report. Reconnect and approve the
reports:write permission during sign-in.
Remove the connector
Go to Settings > Connectors > Rise > Remove. This revokes Claude's access to your Rise data.
