How to buy or remove optional benefits
1. Navigate to Benefits, then under My Benefits, click Plan Overview.
2. From the My Benefits Overview page, click Update info at the top-right corner.
3. Click Optional insurance changes.
4. Update your optional insurance plan and click Save. To buy optional insurance, select the checkbox in front of Optional Employee Life. Add the units for optional insurance and the Effective date. To remove optional insurance, unselect the checkbox in front of Optional Employee Life, add the Effective date, and click Save.
If your plan includes it, you can buy/remove optional insurance for your spouse using the checkbox in front of Optional Spousal Life. 5. After all the changes, you’ll receive a notification that the changes are pending. This will disappear as soon as your employer approves the changes. You can click See my pending changes to view your pending changes.
