1. Log into Rise, click your name in the top-right corner, then click Settings.

2. To enable 2-Step Verification, click Account Settings.

3. Under Account Settings, click the 2-Step Verification tab.

4. Here you’ll see the message ‘2-Step Verification is currently not enabled’. Click Enable 2-Step Verification to proceed.

5. First, download an authenticator app on your smartphone or tablet. We recommend the Google Authenticator (also available on iOS), Twilio Authy, or Duo Mobile apps.

6. Open the authenticator app, and add a new account by clicking the + icon. Follow the instructions in the app and scan the QR code or enter the key. The app will then begin generating a different one-time passcode every 30 seconds.

7. Enter a one-time passcode before it expires (as indicated by the app) and click Verify to connect your Rise account to your authenticator app.
