Send an offer

1. Navigate to Recruiting, then under Offers, click Offers.


2. Click + Create Offer.


3. From the Add applicant dropdown, select an applicant to send the offer to. Note that you can only send offers to applicants in the Offer stage. For instructions on how to change an applicant’s stage, check out our article on How to manage applicants.


4. Select an offer template and an expiration date for the offer.



Once you’ve selected an offer template, you’ll need to assign values to the template’s tokens. For more on tokens, check out our article on How to create a token. Fill in the required information, and click Save & continue when complete.


5. To view a preview of how the offer will look to the applicant, click Preview offer in browser. The offer preview will open in a new tab.



To change the layout of your offer, follow the instructions in our article on How to edit your offer layout.




Click Save & continue to move on.

6. Before you send the offer, you’ll need to create the email that the offer will be attached to. Add the sender’s email address in the Reply-to field, and add the applicant’s personal email address in the To field.


7. Fill in the Subject and Body of the email. If you’d like to use an email template, select one from the Email template dropdown. For more on email templates, check out our article on How to create an email template.


8. Click Send to send the offer.




Once the offer is signed, it will be permanently saved on the Applicant's profile in Recruiting, under Offers and Attachments.
