How to create and assign a task template in HR

      5. In the pop-up, type in a task name, then use the dropdown to select an assignee. You can optionally include a description and a link and link name by clicking on the icons at the bottom of the window. Once you’re all done, click the

   6. To assign this task, click the 
   
      Assign template
   
    button.
   
   
   7. When assigning a template, you can specify who the tasks are being requested for. This is important to include if the assignee needs this context in order to complete the task (for example, setting up a new user account for a new hire). Specifying who the tasks are to be complete for is optional. Click

   to proceed.
   
   
   8. Finally, review the tasks within the selected template. You can adjust the assignees and optionally set due dates before assigning. Tasks set up to be assigned to a new hire are only supported when assigning a template within onboarding, and must be updated in order to assign the template. When you are ready, click 
   
      Assign
