Determine stat pay eligibility using the Time Approval Summary report

Determine stat pay eligibility using the Time Approval Summary report

Currently, the Rise platform does not support automated identification of employees eligible for statutory holiday pay. To assist clients in identifying employees who are eligible, the Time Approval Summary Report can be a significant support tool.

1. Go to Reports > Scheduling > Time Approval Summary

2. (Optional) Add Full Name column

  • Click Manage Columns > Click + Create formula columns

  • Insert the following:

    • Column name: Full Name
    • Formula: copy + paste the following: CONCAT([Last name],’, ', [First name])
    • Column type: Text

  • Click Save columns to save your new custom field

3. Summarize the results

  • In the main report view, click Summarize
  • In the Summary section, select Count
    • Click + Apply grouping
    • Rows: Group by Full Name (column you created above)
    • Columns: Time entry date by Individual date

  • Exit Summarize pop-up

4. Filter by time entry date

Click the Time Entry Date filter and select the 30 days (as an example for 15 of 30 rule) leading up to stat holiday
- Example: August 2 - August 31 for Labour Day (September 1)

5. Save the report for later

Click Save report, enter a name for your custom report (eg: Stat Pay Eligibility Report - Template), and choose whether you would like to share this report with other users.
