How to use the Time Approval Summary report to assist with Stat Pay eligibility
Currently, the Rise platform does not support automated identification of employees eligible for statutory holiday pay. To assist clients in identifying employees who are eligible, the Time Approval Summary Report can be a significant support tool.
- Navigate to Reports > Scheduling > Time Approval Summary
- Click Manage Columns > Click + Create formula columns
Insert the following:
- Column name: Full Name
- Formula: copy + paste the following: CONCAT([Last name],’, ', [First name])
- Column type: Text
- Click Save columns


Click Summarize
In Summary section, select Count
- Click + Apply grouping
- Rows: Group by Full Name (column you created above)
- Columns: Time entry date by Individual date
Exit Summarize modal
Click the Time Entry Date filter and select the 30 days (as an example for 15 of 30 rule) leading up to stat holiday
- Example: August 2 - August 31 for Labour Day (September 1)
Click Save report and name the report Stat Pay Eligibility Report - Template
